Project Summery.
It is undeniable that most cases of girls dropping out of school are prompted by early pregnancy. High level of stigma is attached to girls who get pregnant while in school. Unfortunately, there is little comprehensive education on sexuality made available to the school going children. Safe Space Tanzania hopes to fill this gap by developing an age –sensitive curriculum on sexuality education and disseminating the same to schools. Similarly, through partnerships, Safe Space hopes to contribute to advocate on safe abortion by referring cases to relevant cases to the concerned partners.
